For those of you who may not have seen this I thought I would make it available.
Is not been that long… since 1961 when Soviet Cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin became the first person to make a 108 minute orbital flight in the Vostok 1 spacecraft have we managed to pollute space.
We have been throwing our garbage “out the window” for 60 years and this is the result. Like billiard balls the garbage crashes into each other and ricochets off. Most travelling at speeds the order of 18,000 miles an hour.
We are fast approaching the situation we may have difficulty getting off this planet unless environmental sustainable measures are put into play…
For my five-year-old — I say: “… you made the mess – you cleaned it up”… Do you think this admonition will be responded to by the global powers that made the mess?
